What a sadly ironic title to this post :( http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/11/05/texas.fort.hood.shootings/index.html
I’m in Dallas shooting for Lug Travel and enjoying the warm weather and sunshine. We usually shoot a lot of outdoor, lifestyle-y stuff in order to get a nice youthful and fun look. This year, because they launched a line which is a bit more sophisticated, we hired a male model and shot indoors in a really cool fully furnished loft. When we shoot outdoors, we only have to worry about one light source: the sun. So we shoot around it, in the shade, fill, or back light the subject. Shooting indoors is always a bit more of a challenge because we have to design the look of the light and consider angles, power levels, ambient light and what we want the overall look of the image to end up being.

Whoops! Had to remove the rough edits here because they’re not ready to announce their partnership and the images :) Will post them up another time!

I enjoy how my editorial work influences my wedding work but also how my wedding work influences my editorial work :)
