Here’s the full meal deal on “Staz” and Ron’s engagement session! There’s very few, if any, couples I’d agree to wake up at 5am for but here they are. Because of their insanely busy schedule, 6am was the only time they could shoot– ahh! Justin took the lead on this engagement shoot as he’ll be taking the lead on their wedding day as well. It was great, as usual, to vibe off of each other and combining our ideas into one cohesive set. Most people still don’t get the concept of how I work so tightly with my team. I wish I could boast and I say I’m a one woman show with a bunch of minions at my fingertips but that would be a complete lie. The truth is that my team learns from me as much as I learn from them. We bounce ideas off of each other and create scenes together. It’s totally a collaboration. Much like a video team, we shoot our own separate angles and scenes with a single vision in mid. We then edit our images into a single story… it’s kinda neat how we can do it with stills too.
