nikisha from xbox for marketing magazine

This was a super fun shoot! Chris and I headed downtown pretty early and got a nice tour of the Microsoft office downtown. Their space was really cool with open kitchens, lots of free, unlimited sugary drinks (haha) and full chalkboard walls for meetings. Cell phone rooms, showers and spaces to chill and play Xbox were available if you wanted to say, live at the office :|

Anyway, Chris and I spent a fair bit of timing scouting and subsequently “building” the space we photographed Nikisha in. We moved furniture out and brought furniture from various other parts of the office in, then had to style everything as well. Who knew that’d be a part of a photographer’s job eh? :) Keep you on your toes I tell ya.

Nikisha was such a pleasure to meet and to photograph. We ended up bonding over a conversation about CrossFit and how she hates skipping double unders :)
