There’s something incredibly different and refreshing about two “older” people get married. The word “older” here is, of course, relative to the general/average age of the couples I photograph every year :) There’s something unpretentious and straightforward that I really like. I find that very young couples who get married can get carried away with all the traditions and what they “have to do” or “should do.” For the older crowd, they usually express that they want people to have a great time and enjoy themselves in celebration. Sounds good to me.
Rena and Michael are no exception to this type of people and their wedding was certainly down to earth. They even had their respective kids as their wedding party– I think that is sooo awesome! :) They had a slew of other personalize nuances to their day but I won’t go into detail with that. All I can say that I could feel the love pouring out from these two and yes, at times I had to tell them to dial it down for the PG photos ;) hehe
Enjoy!
