WHAT I'M UP TO:

mikayla + david, reception portraits

Woot! The first photobooth reception portraits of the year.  Since Gee’s in Korea right now, I had plans to set up the photobooth by myself since I used to do it by myself– should be no problem right? Ha! Turns out that being 26 years old and 20 years old makes a difference — seriously.  I’m so glad that Heidi was available and also that her eyes were functioning (she just has PRK surgery done) to help me carry multiple bags, set up and take down the booth.  I don’t think I would have survived physically or mentally!  I recently did a post on physical fitness + photography, how one can heavily affect the other and yup, I was owned by my lack of fitness on Saturday.  Fail.  Carrying two heavy bags up two staircases = struggle.  Alas, today will be the start of my pre-wedding season conditioning! Moderate cardio and lots of cross training for functionality (aka CrossFit or CrossFit-esque stuff).  I started off this morning with a short run, 500m row, some lifting and squats.
On to the photobooth…
I got in touch with Mikayla and David after they saw images from Krystin and Adam’s wedding.

I then bumped into them at Jessica and Joshua‘s wedding!  Turns out David is Jessica’s cousin :) It was really fun to see a lot of familiar faces from Jess and Josh’s wedding there like some bridesmaids, groomsmen, aunts and uncles and of course, Jess and Josh themselves.  Without further ado, some of the most photogenic and good-looking people at this wedding I tell ya!
