We just got our new Lumix LX3 point and shoot last night and I’ve been having so much fun playing with it. It has a brilliant 24mm 2.0 lens which is great for wide, documentary stuff but what I’m VERY impressed with is it’s macro abilities for point and shoot. It’s no Nikon 55mm but it does a very impressive job! I’m off to hang out with family today so I’ll be sure to post up images of randomness soon.

February 4, 2010 - 2:00 pm - Glendon I'm not sure it's AS wide as the LX3 but probably close. I'm not a geek so I don't actually know hehe. I like how the LX3 can be used with my SB800 -- that was the clincher. I couldn't use an external flash on my G9 previously.
February 4, 2010 - 1:22 pm - Did you compare it to the new Canon S90? I think they're meant to face off head to head. Same lens (minus leica name) lol.
